Best known for Elix Skipper running across the top of the cage to deliver a two-man Hurricanrana, America’s Most Wanted vs. Triple X remains the best tag team match in TNA history. The spot gets all the attention, but the bout had everything you could possibly want from a big stipulation match.

The two teams had been warring for months, and Turning Point 2004 was intended as their final showdown. It came with a “loser’s must split” stipulation, adding an extra layer of intensity to an already heated match. Skipper, Christopher Daniels, Chris Harris, and James Storm left nothing in the tank, competing with a ferocity that had you genuinely believe they were fighting for their careers, which took the contest to the next level.

Skipper’s cage run wasn’t even the decisive spot. Daniels hit a huge elbow drop of the structure shortly afterwards, before AMW downed both Triple X members with a super Tower of Doom. The conclusion saw Harris handcuff Daniels, taking him completely out of the match, before AMW secured the win with XXX’s own Power Plex. A bitter ending for one of TNA’s most prominent teams, and particularly Daniels, who looked like he was about to burst into tears.
