20 Best WWE Matches Of The Decade (So Far)

5. John Cena Vs. Daniel Bryan - SummerSlam 2013

Before Daniel Bryan got his WrestleMania moment, he had what could have potentially been a career-defining moment at SummerSlam 2014 when he beat John Cena to win the WWE Title. Bryan received a crack at the champ's strap after winning an audience vote (jeez, it's almost like they were trying to tell the WWE something). It's rare that an all-face match gets to main event a major PPV. Usually their needs to be a strong heel/face dynamic in order to drum up audience interest but Bryan and Cena are so good, and their match was so fresh, that neither man needed to switch sides. Instead, they just went out and had a terrific match that had fans on the edge of their seats. Few actually expected Bryan to win, cleanly no less, so when he did it was a special moment, one that established Bryan as a A+ player for life. The post-match angle/match which saw Triple H turn on Bryan and Orton cash-in his Money in the Bank contract was perfectly done, too.
