20 Best WWE Matches Of The Decade (So Far)

6. Shawn Michaels Vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania XXVI

How do you follow one of the greatest matches in history? For some wrestlers, it's nigh on impossible to replicate. How do you capture lightning in a bottle twice? There are so many things that go into making a classic match and there are so many stars that need to be aligned for it to come off just right. Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker proved just how special they really are by following up their WrestleMania XXV stunner with an equally amazing match at 'Mania XXVI. No longer sandwiched in the midcard, these two legends rightfully closed the show in a match where HBK's career was on-the-line. Building on and playing off of the previous year's effort, this was a roller coaster ride of emotions. There were so many heart-stopping near falls and 'WTF' moments (Michaels' insane moonsault through the Spanish announce table for instance). Ultimately, though, it was time to close the book on an incredible career and 'Taker got the win with an evil jumping Tombstone. Afterwards the two men embraced and 'Taker left the ring so that Michaels could say his goodbyes to the crowd. What better way for one of the best ever to go out than by having a genuine classic in the main event of the biggest show of the year? Just perfect.
