Last year placed 2 What a crazy year for Daniel Bryan. The first five months can only be described as a whirlwind. He started out as part of the Wyatt family, had a match of the year with Bray Wyatt at Royal Rumble, was overlooked for the Royal Rumble match, became a global star due to the Yes Movement, was then added to the Mania title scene, beat Triple H in another match of the year at Mania 30, won the title in a rip roaring Mania main event over Orton and Batista, got married, suffered the death of his father, had a god awful feud with Kane, and then went on the injured list in May due to a neck issue. Seven months later and there is still no sign of his return. Despite the lengthy absence, Bryan did enough this year to retain his status as one of WWE's top guys. Three match of the year contenders and his storied journey toward the WWE Championship is enough to ensure that 2014 can still be considered the year of his life. When he was on the active roster, there was nobody better. Highlight of the year: Winning the WWE Title in the WrestleMania 30 show closer.
