The 20 Best WWE Pro Wrestlers Of 2014

15. Erick Rowan

New Entry As part of The Wyatt Family, Rowan was involved in some excellent matches in 2014. He rarely got to shine as a singles wrestler, but he did more than enough in tag competition to show he's an athletic big man. First up, the six man match that pitted The Wyatt Family against The Shield at Elimination Chamber 2014. A lot of people in the Internet Wrestling Community are considering that the best match of this past year. Another great 2014 match was at Money In The Bank, when Rowan and Harper battled The Usos. Although they failed to capture tag team gold, they did put on what was arguably the most compelling tag match of the year. It was so good that WWE did it again the next month at Battleground, this time in a two out of three falls setting. Once again, it was brilliant, stuffed full of near falls and drama. The Usos won 2 - 1. Things have dithered since then. The WWE are trying to establish Rowan as a singles star, and the jury is still out if that can be a success. He was featured as a key member of the Team Cena main event at Survivor Series, but the character is already looking lost in the roster. A full reinvention for 2015 would serve Rowan well. Highlight of the year: Match against The Shield at Elimination Chamber.
