Then, there was Josh Alexander.

He became a lumberjack (and he's OK) for one night only on 30 November 2023. Back then, Impact Wrestling ran a 'Throwback Throwdown' event that had to be seen to be believed. In the carny-style main event, Alexander would moonlight as "Tim Burr". Yes, as in, look out there's a falling tree that could thump down on you.

Tim Burr wrestled Santino Marella in his old Boris Alexiev gimmick from the OVW days. It was a captivating mix of styles, because Josh had always been known as a technical wizard and Santino are more of a 'ha ha' guy. However, both could still go, and they did a sterling job of melding comedy with actual wrestling on the night.

Throwdown was basically Impact's own version of WWE's Southpaw Regional Wrestling. More on that later. It was never designed to be taken seriously by anybody, so it's lowkey hilarious that aggregate sites like Cagematch and other critics properly reviewed it (star ratings and all). Tim Burr vs. Boris would've been some get for Wrestle Kingdom, eh?

2023's incarnation was actually the fourth 'Throwback Throwdown' Impact/TNA had put on since 2019. Other notable headliners included "Sex Ferguson" (Doc Gallows riffing on Southpaw) and Ethan Page as "Julian Cumberbun".

It's Alexander's Tim Burr that gets the nod out of all of them on this occasion. It was so silly and out of pocket for someone who typically rocked amateur wrestling gear and traded holds on the mat more than laugh out loud comedy spots.
