So you€™re making a sequel to Conan The Barbarian, and you need someone who can look like they could be a legitimate threat to Schwarzenegger. There€™s not many people on the planet who could do that, but director Richard Fleischer managed to find what he was looking for when he cast the legendary 7ft 4 Andre The Giant. Andre played the demonic Dagoth, but was not credited in the film, as he was heavily costumed. Nevertheless, his presence is still felt. The final showdown between Dagoth and Conan is the stuff of pre-CGI legend!
