During the Attitude Era, one of the biggest selling points for both the WWF's Raw Is War and WCW's Monday Nitro was that fans really didn't know what they were going to see upon tuning in. Better yet, attending shows could be an up close and personal experience, as wrestlers routinely brawled through the crowd. One thing hardly anybody expects when going to a wrestling show is to be doused in alcohol, but that's exactly what happened to a whole bunch of people during one Raw episode in 1999. McMahon, his son Shane and The Rock sold this perfectly, equally angry that Austin had interfered and simultaneously confused at what he was doing. From there, Austin would soak his rivals in beer, with the highlight coming when Vince started trying to swim in the beer to get away from a further dousing.
