It's often been said that tag-team wrestling hasn't been given the credit it warrants in the modern era. That's slightly unfair, there have been pockets of attention from WWE management since the glory days of the 1980's. Most notably, the early-2000's were rife with great teams.

Tag wrestling similarly hasn't always been the main point of emphasis for those in charge at TNA, but the promotion can look back on a history of wonderful tandems. One of the greatest has to be James Storm and Bobby Roode, collectively known as Beer Money. Joining them are Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, dubbed the Motor City Machine Guns.

In 2010, both teams met in a 'Best Of 5' series that gained infamy. Before meeting in a 2-Out-Of-3-Falls Match on the August 12 episode of Impact Wrestling, Beer Money and the Machine Guns met in a Ladder Match, Street Fight, Steel Cage Match and Ultimate X Match.

Most of those bouts were shorter affairs, it was the final match that proved the biggest winner. Silky smooth, the quartet had a winning style that worked well within the parameters of a multi-fall match.
