Following their transcendent Ladder Match with Edge & Christian at October 1999's No Mercy, The Hardy Boyz would drag The Dudley Boyz into the brave new WWE tag team scene with a blistering tables match in front of a white-hot Madison Square Garden crowd.

Fought under elimination rules, the match featured a host of bruising table bumps as each opponent was picked off, including legdrop/splash combo to Bubba Ray, a superbomb to Matt Hardy, and two catastrophic misses from the ring to the floor, as D-Von would dodge both a Matt legdrop and Jeff plancha within seconds of one another.

As the match neared its conclusion, the four fought to an arena exit with more weaponry, before Bubba took a Nestea Plunge from the walkway's ledge through a table, and Jeff Hardy subsequently concluded the chaos with a memorable Swanton Bomb from the platform to D-Von.

Though briefly revered, the match would foreshadow more famous follow-ups between the duos and their TLC rivals Edge & Christian, as the six men engaged in career-shortening wars in an effort to constantly up the ante set in electric stunt shows such as these.
