Every big name wrestler has a breakout match. This was it for The Rock as he defended the IC Title as a heel against the face Triple H. They were leaders of rival groups and at a similar point in their careers as well as their age. The Rock lost that match, which is one of the best of his career, and he went on to be a bigger star soon after.
