Some people would argue that Ric Flair wrestled long past the point that he should have and that he really should have hung up his boots long before WrestleMania XXIV in 2008. If he had have done that, however, we wouldn't have gotten one of the truly iconic moments of the past decade. Flair lost to Shawn Michaels, who mouthed 'sorry...I love you' before decking The Nature Boy with the career-ending Sweet Chin Music. It was an iconic moment in itself, but the visual of a teary-eyed 59-year-old Flair waving goodbye to the ring and taking one final walk back up the ramp was the one which lives long in the memory.
