4. The Irresistible Force Meets The Immovable Object
Ricky Steamboat and Randy Savage may have 'had the best match' at WrestleMania III, but Hogan and Andre's titanic clash drew 93,173 (actually closer to 78,000) fans to the Pontiac Silverdome. Although the two had clashed several times in the past, there was something special at their 'Mania showdown. The match was hardly great from a technical standpoint but, much like Rock and Hogan fifteen years later, the two icons didn't have to do much to get a booming response from the crowd. The visual of Hogan and Andre squaring up to one another is an iconic moment in and of itself. Oh yeah, and there was some type of bodyslam or something, too.
