20 Injured WWE Stars (And When They're Set To Return)

1. Big E

It appears unlikely that we will ever see Big E wrestle again.

The New Day's big, beefy boy is now 27 months post-broken neck, having fractured his C1 and C6 vertebrae following a botched belly-to-belly suplex on the 11 March, 2022 SmackDown, and he is still without an in-ring return timeline, having since moved into a broadcasting role with the company. He regularly slots in excellently during WWE's pre and post-show panels, displaying a natural transition between the two crafts that colleagues past and present could only dream of.

Should he never wrestle again, Ettore Ewen leaves behind an incredible in-ring career.

Returning: Potentially never.
