7. Ultimate Warrior Saves Hulk Hogan - WrestleMania 8
It's the oldest return on this list. Hulk Hogan was in a match against Sid Justice at WrestleMania 8. The match wasn't very good, but it was the main event because Hogan was involved. After the match ended in a DQ, Hogan was attacked by Papa Shango and it looked like it was the end of the Hulkster. Just as Bobby Heenan said on commentary that Hogan didn't have a friend left, the music hit. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x59ulf_wrestlemania-viii-hulk-hogan-vs-sid_sport It was the music of The Ultimate Warrior, who did his famous sprint down the aisle and cleaned house when he got into the ring. He had left the company in late 1991, so this was his big return in 1992 without being advertised for the show. They could have booked it better by having Hogan win the match and then do the attack post match with Warrior coming in for the save, but it was still one of the loudest ovations you'll ever here for a return of a superstar.
