3. Big Show Vs. Shaquille O'Neal (WrestleMania 28)
As far as celebrity matches go, this one felt like a natural. The jovial and towering Shaq is a longtime wrestling fan, and possesses the frame and the low-key charisma to have been a wrestling star had he pursued that career instead of basketball. As a RAW guest host, Shaq took part in a skirmish with Big Show in the summer of 2009, and rumblings were that another confrontation seemed likely. As late as the first couple months of 2012, O'Neal was insisting that he would wrestle Show on the grand stage, which WWE denied, even releasing a statement on WWE.com that said O'Neal's claims were false. The hype had picked up such steam that prior to WWE's public comment, the match felt like a mere formality.
