20 Major WrestleMania Matches We Didn't Get

2. CM Punk Vs. Triple H (WrestleMania 30)

My, how ugly this one became. There was once a time where the WrestleMania 30 card would feature Randy Orton vs. Batista, Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan, and Triple H vs. CM Punk, which vocal fans had no interest in seeing. Following Punk's exit from the maligned 2014 Royal Rumble match, he engaged in a tense meeting with Triple H and McMahon, which led to his walking out of WWE, seemingly for good. Punk claims that Triple H could only scowl as he claimed that a match with him at WrestleMania was hardly meaningful, no matter how many times they insisted it was a 'main event' (the only 'main event' is what goes on last). Punk asked if it were truly a main event, if he'd get the same payoff as Orton and Batista, which everyone knows would be no. Despite assuring Punk that Hunter would lose, Punk scoffed, and took his leave.
