3. Sid's Barmy "Winning Streak"

Sid Vicious will forever go down in wrestling blooper history for his mind-bending promo aimed at Kevin Nash, during which the big man told his peer that he was "twice the man", but "I have half the brain that you do". It's comedy gold, seeing Sid's poor face once he realises what he's just said, ruining his aura as a killer babyface in the process.

Upon his return to WCW in 1999, the creative team decided it'd be a cool idea to have him put together a winning streak similar to that of Bill Goldberg, something fans could easily follow and get behind, probably even leading to a big Pay-Per-View collision with Goldberg himself.

It all seemed fine and dandy, until this supposed streak was so convoluted and nonsensical that fans did little else other than laugh when it was mentioned. Bizarrely, Sid was given wins simply by attacking wrestlers after their matches, and even had victories notched on the win column when he lost! The cherry on the cake was when the big guy was handed wins when he wasn't even wrestling, it was all very strange, and it's impossible to see how the writing staff couldn't see that fans were left bemused.
