Rightly so, millions of people have decried WCW's decision to put the World Title on actor David Arquette in 2000 as company suicide. In fairness to Arquette, he reportedly warned management that this was a bad idea - as a wrestling fan himself, David realised fans would turn on the idea big style.

Long before she was bothering Jim Ross with phonecalls related to her son not feeling well enough to attend WWF bookings, Judy Bagwell - mother of Buff Bagwell - was booked to be a WCW Tag-Team Champion, something which obviously should never have happened. Honestly, who thought this was even remotely a good idea?

Along with Rick Steiner, Mrs. Bagwell proudly stood with the title belt around her waist, looking as out of place as anybody ever could at a pro wrestling show. People in attendance must have wondered if this was some sort of elaborate prank at their expense, but no, someone thought this would create interest in WCW. Unbelievably, it didn't. Imagine that.
