19. The Cena Era Is Longer Than Austin And Rock Combined
The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin are credited as being WWE's greatest icons. But their impact on the business was actually brief, although the benefits are still being felt today. Austin's era was 1997 - 2001, a run of four years. The Rock's run was 1998 - 2002, again just four years. But John Cena has reigned as the franchise star in WWE from 2005 - present day, a run of over ten years. The Cena era is already six years longer than the Rock / Austin years. It isn't ending any time soon, either.
