Armed with contrasting black and neon green colors, DX was everything that the Hart Foundation wasn't-- but like their rivals, would play host to a beloved entrance theme in wrestling history. Shawn Michaels, Chyna, and Triple H exploded in popularity, as did their theme "Break it Down", performed by the Chris Warren Band, who performed the song at WrestleMania 14. Chris Warren would go on to record countless other themes for the WWE, most notably for X-Pac, the WWE Superstars TV show, Mike Tyson, and more. In 1997, lyrics weren't as prominently used within WWE themes as they are today, so the use of an actual band, albeit an unknown band, turned a few heads. Within a few years, the song was being re-mixed by Run DMC and featured in a music video on MTV. "Break it Down" would continue to be used throughout the several DX reunions into the 2010's, including the memorable Raw 1000 segment which saw Triple H, HBK, X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws take the ring together.
