20 Most Iconic WWE Entrance Themes

1. Stone Cold Steve Austin

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TwLOOFvzS4 If the word "iconic" belongs to any one superstar, it's "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and his unforgettable theme is no different. "Glass Shatters" is by far the most recognizable, blood pumping theme of all-time. Stone Cold Steve Austin's instrumental classic isn't even primarily known for its music, as much as the familiar sound of panes of glass breaking, followed by his signature walk to the ring.Having a move or a song become synonymous with a wrestling character is commonplace, but its not often that a singular sound can be tied to a superstar, which is something Steve Austin can lay claim to. The theme got new life in 2001, when rock band Disturbed re-made the song with added vocals and guitars. The new rendition gave the theme a much-needed edge, as many WWE superstars were getting updated themes. Ultimately Austin would return to the original tune, however, and its stuck with him throughout his several WWE cameos since his retirement. Longtime WWE producer Jim Johnston had a major hand in creating most all of the themes on this list, proving his invaluable worth to the company over the past three decades. If not for him, great tunes like "Glass Shatters" may never have happened. Could you imagine Stone Cold Steve Austin instead entering to some generic, stock music that you might hear later on a Pennzoil commercial? Crushing down beers in the middle of the ring just wouldn't have been the same. Luckily for Steve Austin, he was the owner of the most iconic WWE theme music of all time.
