20 Most Overdue WWE Hall Of Fame Inductions

19. Rick Martel

For much of the 1980s and 1990s, Rick Martel was getting over and having good matches somewhere. He started out in the old AWA as a fiery white-meat babyface, and he captured their World title. From there, he went to the WWF as a tag team specialist, working with Tito Santana as the beefcake-lite team Strike Force. He reached his greatest fame as "The Model", a self-absorbed heel wearing a sweater draped over his shoulders and a giant button reading YES I AM A MODEL. Rick Martel was kind of the greatest.

Why He's Not In: Somehow, Rick Martel has been almost forgotten. He did go to WCW in the 1990s, but apparently not in such a way that created any real enmity with WWE. He genuinely seems to have just moved on with his life. Rick, if you're reading this, please come back for your HOF plaque - and maybe a short run as Breezango's manager.
