It's better to be remembered for something than nothing, or so they say. To WWE fans, Cameron is best known for causing a Steve Austin meltdown on Tough Enough in 2011 when she named a random bout between Alicia Fox and Melina as her favourite wrestling match ever. That always seemed a tad harsh - was she supposed to say something stock like Savage vs. Steamboat or Rock vs. Austin just to appease everybody?

Did you want the woman to lie, 'Stone Cold'?!

She was a wrestling rookie, simple as that, so Cameron was always going to pin her hopes on those who'd piqued her interest for this WWE stuff. The promotion signed her up to a developmental deal anyway, then eventually brought her up to TV as one of Brodus Clay's "Funkadactyls" (alongside Naomi). She never really worked out as a solo attraction after that, and was released from her contract in 2016.

If you thought that was the last time you'd see Cameron, then watch more WWE. They seem to bring almost everyone back, and she was no exception. Cameron returned following a six-year layoff and worked a 51-second spot in the 2022 women's Rumble. Sonya Deville was the one who eliminated her, but Cam did get a surprisingly positive response from the live crowd during her entrance.

Hey, if she ever fancies making another comeback, then she should improve her wrestling knowledge by checking out some of the career best matches WWE stars had in 2024. That's a cheap plug even Mick Foley would be proud of.
