And that's a wrap on Dynamite's stint as part of the TNT universe. Come next Wednesday night, the TBS era will begin with a rematch for the ages as a Hangman looks to finally extinguish an American Dragon and two badass women battle it out for the honour of holding that station's strap for the first time.

But before jumping into what promises to be a blockbuster first Dynamite of 2022, there were more than a few talking points coming out of the farewell to TNT. Among them was the decision to name drop a certain "Advocate" in what is already fast becoming one of the most divisive and perhaps intentionally dislikable programmes the promotion has brought to life in recent times. But this sea of questionable pipebombs wouldn't have even been possible were it not for one last 2021 bombshell in the form of an American Nightmare besting a Spanish God for the TNT title on Rampage.

Away from this Nightmare before (or "on" in the case) Christmas, good ol' J.R. made his triumphant return to AEW television, rocking up to Daily's Place after giving cancer a middle finger followed by a trusty stunner. AEW's women's division was given another vital shot in the arm too as Mercedes Martinez looks set to finally be treated with the respect she undoubtedly deserves post-bottle to Thunder Rosa's skull.

As 2021 and the TNT-era of Dynamite rides off into the sunset, though, what better way to salute a truly memorable time in the life of All Elite than to hop onto the old Instagram machine and see what Santa brought our favourite guys and gals, eh?
