20 Obscure WWE Tag Teams You Totally Don't Remember

1. Lo Down

Lo Down saw D'Lo Brown go from one extreme to the other. Teaming with The Godfather placed him alongside one of the most outlandish, colourful characters in the company, but Lo Down were the blandest of the bland.

D'Lo was stuck for something to do after turning on The Godfather, and so was Headbanger Mosh, whose partner Thrasher had just fallen to injury. The former Beaver Cleavage became Chaz, and he and D'Lo started teaming together on Heat and Jakked without any real explanation of their formation.

Lo Down effectively stripped away everything that made Brown (and Chaz, to a certain degree) interesting. The duo competed in plain black or white sweatpants, displayed no real personality, and only ever competed in listless, throwaway matches against the likes of Too Cool and Kaientai. They accomplished next to nothing, scarcely appeared on Raw or SmackDown, and were never given a significant angle to sink their teeth into.

Then Tiger Ali Singh came along, and that's when things got really confusing. Lo Down seemingly took on Tiger's gimmick, and started dressing in traditional Sikh attire for absolutely no reason. They got some new entrance music and some brightly coloured headdresses, but Lo Down's fortunes didn't improve with Singh as manager: the group split six months after forming, and Chaz and Singh were both released.
