Sheamus and Cesaro are currently making waves as Raw's current Tag Team Champions, and the "odd couple" storyline is one that WWE have been telling for years. Head Cheese were one such example: esoteric goofball Al Snow joined forces with the stone-faced Steve Blackman in 2000, and they were actually a relatively entertaining midcard comedy act.

The ultra-serious Blackman was an effective foil for Snow's mania, and the duo starred in a number of comedy skits throughout their time together. Most of them felt like a rib on Blackman's perceived lack of personality, and featured Snow coming up with multiple ideas for a gimmick for their team. These ranged from a pitched TV show where they travel through time to solve mysteries and a painful scene that saw Blackman perform stand-up comedy at a nursing home, but Snow was never able to convince his stoic partner to lighten up.

Head Cheese found little success in the ring. Their sole opportunity at becoming Tag Team Champions ended in a no contest following interference from the debuting Radicalz on an episode of Raw, and they went their separate ways shortly after losing to T&A at WrestleMania 16.
