20 Reasons Why WWE WrestleMania 36 Was An Absolute BLAST

1. A Respite

Above all else, WrestleMania 36 was a welcome break from all the b*llocks going on right now.

This a weekend-long chance to switch over from the news, grab a glass of whatever you drink, sit back, and enjoy a big daft wrestling show. That so much of it resonated so strongly is the cherry on top. WrestleMania 36 may not have felt like such an escapist joy if not for its stunning highs, so kudos to WWE for coming through and kudos for the wrestlers for working so hard as well.

What happens next is tricky to forecast. We know WWE has enough footage in the can for tonight's Raw and plans on taping this week's SmackDown at a secret location, but it's all up in the air afterwards. We may not have fresh, original wrestling content for much longer, so let's luxuriate in 'Mania while we can, focus on its plus points, and think about where guys like Drew McIntyre go from here.
