3. Randy Savage Gets Snake-Bit

Miss Elizabeth and the retired 'Macho Man' Randy Savage were married at SummerSlam 1991, but at their post-event reception, Elizabeth was shocked when she opened a gift box that contained a live snake. Jake Roberts and The Undertaker then attacked Savage, but Sid made the save.

Still, the feud between the inactive former WWE Champion and the two most terrifying men in the company continued. On an episode of Superstars months later, Roberts called Savage (who was doing commentary) into the ring, then attacked him. He tied Savage up in the ropes and procured a (devenomized) king cobra, which he set loose on Savage. The snake attacked the beloved superstar, biting his arm and drawing blood.

While there was no real danger to Savage due to the snake having had its venom glands removed, the gruesome nature of the angle - combined with the fact that Roberts was legitimately unable to get the snake to release its bite - made it one of the most disturbing things ever aired on WWE TV.
