13. The End Of The World

In late 2011, mysterious vignettes began to air on Raw which let fans know that "the end was near". The videos, mostly featuring a boy in a classroom taking notes while a child's voiceover spouted biblical-sounding rhetoric, became increasingly more troublesome - a girl was added to the vignettes, with the boy saying "she holds the mystery of my arrival, of my rebirth", and the boy was later shown standing in the corner, Blair Witch style, while the girl looked at the camera.

Only one thing was certain - the mystery would be explained on "the second day of 2012". Fans' imaginations were stoked, and they began trying to analyze the videos for clues. It turned out, though, that much like the "Save Us" videos from four years earlier, they were giving it too much thought - it was simply a hype job for a Chris Jericho return that had nothing to do with his actual character.

Still, the Revelatory themes, the black and white filming, and the creepy children were enough to play with the minds of the WWE Universe for weeks.
