20 Secret Highlights Of WCW That WWE Won't Tell You About

18. Disco Inferno - Full Stop

WWE almost never mentions the Disco Inferno, who was a huge part of WCW programming for years. I think the only time they've brought him up was on an episode of Countdown, and it was a bunch of WWE guys that never worked with Disco talking trash about how terrible he was. But he was a comedy jobber, you know? If WCW had won the war, would they have filmed a segment where everyone just went off on what a worthless pile of human garbage Crash Holly was? I mean, probably, yeah, but stay with me here.

From the very beginning, Disco had his character down; he spent most of his debut match desperately adjusting his pompadour like he was Rey Mysterio in an experimental WrestleMania mask. He never stopped evolving, either, including runs with the Wolfpac and as the hyper-topical R & B superstar, Disqo. He also had an extremely underrated comedy gimmick going where he'd forget how to apply his standing figure four, the Last Dance, and have to consult his ubiquitous cheat sheet.
