Remember Marc Mero from earlier on? Well, this lady is the main reason most people have heard of him. Joining her then-husband in the WWF in 1996, Rena Mero took the name "Sable" and began what would become an extremely successful career. Sable was incredibly popular with the crowd - mostly for, shall we say, "cosmetic" reasons - and quickly outshone her husband. After the two went through a breakup angle on-screen, Sable became a figurehead in the WWF's newly-revamped women's division.

She was involved in the first major feud for the revived WWF Women's Championship alongside Jacqueline. Sable may have lost their inaugural championship match, but she would unseat the Texan to at Survivor Series. She would hold the gold for a whopping 176 days before eventually dropping the title to Debra in... an Evening Gown Match.

Women's wrestling in the late 90s, everyone!

Sable would depart the WWF under controversial circumstances in 1999. She returned to the company for a short stint in the early 2000s, but she was mostly used as Vince McMahon's mistress which, sadly, doesn't count as a championship.
