Early in the interview, Jake thanked Vince McMahon for his patience over the years. According to Roberts, McMahon knew about his various drug and alcohol demons, but also wanted to help as much as he could. That doesn't explain why he pitched that Jake front a 'Just Say No' anti-drugs campaign for the WWF.

That's pretty sick.

Roberts stared at his boss incredulously. Vince was fully aware how difficult his wrestler found it to go through 24 hours without taking anything, and now he wanted him to stand in front of millions and disparage habits that were wrecking his life? That was something Jake didn't find funny whatsoever.

The pod features an awkward moment when Rogan and pals laugh at the silliness of the situation. Jake still doesn't see the funny side though. To him, it was mental torture to pretend that he was a stand-up role model who was capable of telling anyone what to do.
