20 Things We Need To See From Lucha Underground Season 2

4. Things Get More Supernatural

One of the more interesting games to play while watching Lucha Underground is attempting to figure out the nature and extent of everyone's supernatural powers. For example, Dario Cueto is terrified of his brother, a horrible mutant he's forced to keep in a cage, yet isn't always intimidated by Mil Muertes, an undead earthquake demon. Catrina, however, has claimed that not even Matanza could hope to defeat her champion. Aside from those two, there's also Pentagón Jr. and whatever dark forces Vampiro's supposed to command, and the possibility that Drago or Fénix could reach a new level and enter that same class of frightening power.

It's like trying being one of those Dragon Ball Z characters who can't sense energy trying to figure out whether a vampiric bio-android or an alien super warrior is more powerful. By the end of season two, we'd better have Drago transforming into a bad CGI dragon, and Mil Muertes countering by blasting him with a Kamehameha of spectral jaguars.
