4. There Are So Many Interesting "What-ifs"

A lot of history happens in 20 years, to be sure. At the same time, though, a lot of history nearly happens in the same amount of time.

In 2004, Brock Lesnar left WWE to pursue a career in pro football. Ultimately, it didn't work out, and in 2005, he tried to negotiate a return to the company. That fell through, and he wrestled in Japan before getting into MMA and becoming a superstar.

What if Brock had come back to WWE, though? He wouldn't have been a celebrity on the same level, but having him work as a full-timer from 2005 on would have certainly changed the face of the company during that time. Would he have fought Batista in the main event of WrestleMania? Would he be John Cena's greatest rival? Would he have ended Undertaker's streak earlier - or at all?

There are so many other scenarios. What if Sin Cara, the hottest star in Mexico, hadn't flopped in WWE? What if, instead of hiring Kenzo Suzuki back in 2004, the company decided to hire his former tag team partner, Hiroshi Tanahashi? The possibilities are too interesting to ignore.
