20 Times The Undertaker Proved WWE Is His Yard

7. His Hell In A Cell Match With Mankind

While €˜Stone Cold€™ Steve Austin holds the title of most popular wrestler ever and the Rock is the best talker in wrestling history, when it comes to exemplifying mercilessness and brutality, there€™s no one better than the Undertaker. He proved this in what has become the single most infamous moment in modern WWE history, and arguably his most notable: his Hell in a Cell Match with Mankind. €˜Taker€™s feud with Mankind reached a new level of extreme, as Undertaker threw Mankind off the top of the cell within the first few minutes of the match. This moment alone was enough to immortalize that match, but €˜Taker took it a step further by accidentally Chokeslamming Mankind through the top of the cell. In later interviews, he stated that he honestly thought Mankind was dead. But when Foley got back up yet again, Undertaker went back into demolishing him. He hit Mankind in his (separated) shoulder with steel steps, Chokeslammed him onto a bed of thumbtacks, and nailed him with a devastating Tombstone Piledriver. When the referee counted three, JR said, €œMercifully, this one€™s over.€ In the end, both men received a standing ovation, but it was Mankind whose career and life were changed forever. As the Undertaker stood atop the cell, symbolically representing his stance at the top of the WWF, demonstrated that say that he would stop at nothing to prove to everyone that WWE is his yard.
