7. "Only In WCW In-Joke" Mike Awesome's WCW Debut Involves Suspended WCW Wrestler Scott Hall
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuTeADqlKj8 In the best "only in WCW moment" - that deserves mention only to break down what was happening on a worked shoot level - Mike Awesome debuts in ECW while still the ECW champion as Kevin Nash is putting over his buddy Scott Hall who's shoot suspended from WCW at that point, yet the suspension is being used in a WCW storyline. Thus, the one-time New World Order member Nash (and let's remember the New World Order's stated purpose as an organization) is a babyface against his one-time NWO crony (and former shoot WCW boss) Eric Bischoff, who's partnered as a heel with the supposed architect of the WWF Attitude Era. Somehow, the idea that the ECW Champion would be the best surprise attacker to stop the former revolutionary from defending the company he once wanted to destroy alongside his rightfully suspended alcoholic best friend makes sense. Right?
