5. Ric Flair, "Real World's Champion"

When then Ted Turner-owned and NWA-affilliated World Championship Wrestling fired then NWA World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair in July 1991, Flair's cash bond that he put down on the NWA title as holder of the belt to travel around with the belt in his possession was not remitted to him, and thus, between July and September 1991, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan appeared on WWF television with what was the heavyweight championship of the NWA-affiliated WCW. Though the letters WCW or NWA are never mentioned, it's possibly one of the biggest slaps in the face between the competing organizations of the pre-"Attitude" era.
