20 Weirdest Non-WWE Product Endorsements

20. Slim Jim With Randy Savage, Others

Randy Savage Slim Jim This one is the classic, and essentially the standard by which all other wrestler endorsements are judged. That's why, in terms of "weirdness," we're placing it right at the bottom. During his time in World Championship Wrestling, "Macho Man" Randy Savage was the iconic spokesperson for the salty processed meat snack. The commercials were numerous and shown both during episodes of WCW's television programs and other shows, each punctuated with the Macho Man asking his downtrodden costars if they were in need of a little excitement before informing them that snapping into a Slim Jim would quickly rectify their dilemma. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXTagE7BtRU Other wrestlers have attempted to carry the torch as well, including Kevin Nash, Edge, and the Ultimate Warrior (and, very nearly, the aforementioned CM Punk), but none are as closely identified with the product as Savage. It would only be fitting, then, that the day that Savage passed away- May 20th, 2011- would also be the very same day that the Slim Jim production facility in Garner, North Carolina shut its doors.
