20 Worst Wrestling PPVs Of All Time

10. TNA Victory Road 2009

Remember the Shelly Martinez vs. Rebel match mentioned earlier? Well, Victory Road 2009's Jenna Morasca vs. Sharmell contest makes it look like Ricky Steamboat vs. Ric Flair.

It's a masterpiece in how to not put a wrestling match together. Tara and the concussed Angelina Love hadn't exactly set the world alight with the night's other women's match, but Sharmell vs. Jenna was on a different level. Undertrained and uncoordinated, Jenna and Sharmell spend much of their time missing punches, falling down, and struggling to run the ropes correctly. As with most of TNA's worst moments, it's comically bad, and worth checking out for morbid curiosity alone.

That match was the worst of the night, but the rest of Victory Road 2009's card doesn't stand up either. The much-maligned Main Event Mafia stable left with most of TNA's titles in their grasp, with Kevin Nash's clean-as-a-whistle victory over Legends Champion AJ Styles and the makeshift Booker T/Scott Steiner combo defeating Beer Money proving the most egregious.

This is exactly the kind of show that has ruined TNA's reputation, and left them struggling to fund their TV tapings in 2016. From Jenna vs. Sharmell to what is possibly Team 3D's laziest performance of all-time vs. the British Invasion, Victory Road '09 is a brutal watch.
