How poor was this show? Just look at the promotional banner above, for one.

Destination X 2009 compiles some of the worst creative ideas in TNA history across one three-hour show, and with TNA's history, that's saying something. It's hard to believe that a group of functioning human beings actually wrote and put this thing together, but they apparently did, and the list of perplexing booking decisions is nearly endless.

Jim Cornette came out to restart a match because it ended in a disqualification, then allowed it to end via count-out. Samoa Joe attacked Scott Steiner with a knife. Jeff Jarrett sold a missed clothesline like a sniper's bullet for literally minutes, before popping up and no-selling a Kurt Angle punch. ODB hosts a dating game live on PPV. Sheik Abdul Bashir cut a promo about not being on the PPV... on the PPV.

Do you want more? Tough, you'll have to watch the disarray for yourself.

AJ Styles' win over Booker T was enjoyable, and the Ultimate X match between Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal, Consequences Creed, and Suicide was an exciting spotfest, but that's about it. If you want to see the very worst of TNA's janky booking summed up in a single show, there's no better place to go than Destination X 2009.
