20 Worst WWE Matches Since 2000

11. Kane Vs. The Great Khali (SummerSlam 2009)

For a guy generally regarded as one of the most functional wrestling giants of all time, Kane has been involved in a lot of unwatchable nonsense. It isn't always his fault, as 'The Big Red Machine' has been continually subjected to some of the creative department's worst material over the past two decades, but there's no escaping his catalogue of certified duds.

While not the worst match of Kane's lengthy career, his SummerSlam 2009 clash with The Great Khali was utterly woeful. Always a good athlete for a man of his size, but never one to elevate lesser opposition, this six-minute stodger saw the future Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee work to Khali's atrocious level.

With no drama to speak of and only a moderately surprising finisher kick-out to warm the crowd up, this bout's six minutes felt like sixty. You may think you know what you're getting with Khali, but nothing can prepare you for this contest's monotony, and you should steer well clear unless you happen to be looking for an instant insomnia cure.
