20 Worst WWE Matches Since 2000

17. Randy Orton Vs. Bray Wyatt (WrestleMania 33)

Randy Orton will be glad to see the back of 2017. 'The Viper' is currently in the midst of the worst in-ring year of his career, but while his WWE Championship bouts with Jinder Mahal spoiled many a summer pay-per-view, none were as bad as his clashes with Bray Wyatt.

Unless WWE drop a major stinker over the next four weeks, Orton vs. Wyatt will go down as the worst feud of 2017, and while WrestleMania 33 wasn't its lowest moment (we'll get to that...), it's definitely up there.

With Bray's WWE Title on the line, the duo worked a basic, heat-less house show style for much of the runtime, despite Orton literally burning Wyatt's compound to the ground a few weeks prior. This was disappointing in itself, but it got worse. Wyatt got all supernatural on 'The Viper,' projecting images of maggots, roaches, and other bugs on the mat to try and unsettle him, but it didn't work. An unphased Orton pinned Bray with an RKO just a few minutes later, vanquishing both the man and supernatural monster with depressing ease.
