20 Worst WWE Matches Since 2000

15. Batista Vs. The Great Khali (SummerSlam 2007)

You can't compile a list of historically bad wrestling matches without mentioning The Great Khali's name, and this SummerSlam stinker sits snugly amongst the lowest moments of his ghastly WWE run.

At his worst, Khali was downright uncomfortable to watch. The giant Indian never looked like he was in complete control of his bulbous frame, and his stiff, clumsy offence give the impression that he only a single move away from inflicting serious injury upon his opponent. These concerns were particularly pronounced during his early days, including this World Heavyweight Title fight with Batista.

The glacial Indian jumped Big Dave during his entrance, knocking him down with trademark clobbering blows, then locking in one of those lazy nerve holds that comprised much of his moveset. Batista decided against selling, though. This rendered the sequence torturous, and while 'The Animal' eventually fought back with a Spinebuster, this brief spell had no positive impact on what had become a tiring stallfest.

Khali was eventually disqualified for hitting Batista with a chair, having presumably expended more energy on his stomp to the ring than during the bout itself.
