14. The Miz Vs. John Cena (WrestleMania XXVII)

In pure wrestling terms, John Cena vs. The Miz certainly isn't as egregious as many of the bouts on our list, and wouldn't have earned a spot at all if it weren't for its lofty positioning. Said positioning is a huge, huge problem though. WrestleMania's main event is supposed to be the biggest match of the year, yet WWE chose to turn WM 27's closer into nothing more than an inflated TV angle that wouldn't be paid off until a full year later.

Miz vs. Cena was a doormat for the franchise player's eventual showdown with The Rock. Building towards this 'Once In A Lifetime' bout was WWE's priority, and Miz, their top champion, was used to facilitate this. Undermined, disrespected, and borderline buried, 'The A-Lister' left with his title, but his credibility was in shreds, as his triumph came through 'The Great One's' direct interference.

Rock laid Miz out with a spinebuster and People's Elbow after the bell, compounding the hatchet job. The problems began long before the interference, though, with both wrestlers struggling for chemistry and cohesion from bell to bell.
