There's an image you'll presumably never see again - Ronda Rousey in WWE and smiling. The ex-UFC fighter has badmouthed the promotion since leaving in the summer of 2023, and she probably won't be back. Things were much rosier in the garden back when Ronda grabbed her first major pro wrestling title at SummerSlam 2018: The old Raw Women's Title (now the same WWE Women's Title held by Bayley).

She'd impressed in a debut tag at WrestleMania 34, and had also looked good opposite Nia Jax at Money In The Bank in June. One more tune-up match on Raw vs. Alicia Fox followed suit before Rousey kicked lumps out of Alexa Bliss on the biggest pay-per-view of the summer. That was only her 4th wrestling match on TV.

Just as well WWE had the sense to book her on all those live event loops between April and August, eh?
