17. Sheamus (WWE Title)

Number Of TV Matches: 21

Sheamus worked the exact same number of TV bouts as Kurt Angle in TNA before seizing WWE's top strap from John Cena at TLC 2009. The Irishman's rise up the ranks was rapid. He debuted on the ECW brand by beating Oliver John on the 30 June 2009 edition. By the end of the year, Sheamus was WWE Champ and going over the poster boy.

Get this: Sheamus only had five Raw matches under his belt by the time he faced Cena in a pay-per-view main event, so he was super-new. He'd worked an elimination bout at Survivor Series the previous month, but going one-on-one with JC in the headliner was next level stuff.

21 matches in. Bloody hell!
