20 Wrestlers You Totally Forgot Held WWE Championships

15. Mean Street Posse (Hardcore Champions)

The Social Outcasts might be fresher in the memory, but they can’t hold a candle to the Mean Street Posse in the pantheon of great WWE jobber stables. Joey Abs, Rodney, and Pete Gas were three Connecticut blue bloods who were legitimate childhood friends of Shane McMahon, and usually served as his lackeys.

They primarily existed to take Shane’s beatings and help him retain the European Championship, and with only one member actually trained as a wrestler (Abs), this happened often. Still, their McMahon affiliation didn’t prevent the Posse from striking out on their own every now and then, and all three were Hardcore Champions throughout their time with the company.

All three of their reigns started during a battle royal at WrestleMania 2000, with Pete’s lasting the longest at a whopping 48 seconds. The Posse could only ever succeed in such a nutty environment, and the trio were quickly shunted off to developmental before being released the following year.
