2. The Higher Power Reveal

One of the coolest storylines during the Attitude Era by far was when the Ministry of Darkness, led by The Undertaker, began threatening Vince's family. They simply wanted ownership and power of WWE. Taker in particular was obsessed with a then-young and naive Stephanie McMahon, kidnapping her and abandoning her in a boiler room and nearly marrying her in a black wedding. In the end, it was Stone Cold who saved the boss' daughter, creating a new level of tension to the tumultuous on-screen relationship that Austin had with Vince. Shane McMahon, working separately from his father and leading the Corporation, aligned with The Undertaker, resulting in the Corporate Ministry. While Stone Cold wasn't the only target, he was persona non grata. All along, Taker referred to a higher power that he answered to. As the storyline began wearing thin, that higher power was revealed as...Vince. Huh?
