20 WTF WCW Moments

1. Hulk Hogan Forms The nWo

In 1996, Hulk Hogan's red and yellow routine seemed pretty old hat. The holier-than-thou mindset of the character wasn't cutting it the same way it had, and it was clear that a change was needed. Even though many fans felt Hogan needed to do something to freshen up his persona, few would have reasoned that a heel turn was impending. At Bash At The Beach 1996, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash were set to face Sting, Lex Luger and Randy Savage in a bumper tag-team match. In the lead up to the event, The Outsiders had claimed there was a third man in their ranks, but WCW would have to wait to see who it was. As history would dictate, it ended up being none other than Hulk Hogan. During the match, Luger was injured and taken to the backstage area. Later, Hogan emerged and it seemed like he was there to help save the day for WCW. Instead, he dropped a leg on Savage and joined forces with Hall and Nash to form the New World Order. Without a doubt, the incident was one of the biggest shocks in WCW history, and one of the most notable in wrestling as a whole. What other moments in WCW history would you consider 'WTF' moments?
